Deriving inspiration from that which matters most in his life – love of family, the gift of friendship, and deep spiritual connection – Mark Davey’s passion is masterfully expressed in his art.

Davey’s genuine love of art has led him to remain diverse – continually learning and employing a variety of techniques, mediums, and styles. He moves with ease from murals to landscapes to portraits, in which he now specializes. Excelling in realism, his work is infused with uncommon detail, instilling in the viewer a sense of enraptured wonder.

Clients who’ve commissioned Davey to paint portraits have described his work as captivating, stirring, and powerfully emotive. His gift for reflecting the very essence of his subjects is evident in the moving images he captures on canvas.

Davey’s immersion in what he loves to do and his desire to leave his mark on the world, so to speak, is embodied in the extraordinary depth and authenticity of all his work. His remarkable 30’ x 50’ barn mural was created out of a desire to share his talent to benefit others; all proceeds were donated to charity.

When he doesn’t have a paintbrush in hand, Mark Davey can be found enjoying time with his family, or indulging in his other great passion – music. A talented drummer who studied in Los Angeles early in his career, Davey’s musical range is as diverse as his painting. Born and raised in Michigan, the artist now lives in Memphis with his wife and three young children, where he creates, studies and teaches art.
